Hochfirst tower

The present tower is 25 metres high and stands on a natural stone base. The natural stone base comes from the original wooden tower, which was destroyed by a hurricane in 1890. The view from Hochfirst is spectacular, with views of the Feldberg, Titisee and even the Alps. Mt Kandel also looks magnificent from here, and the foundations of the mountains in the Titisee area hint at their origins in the former Feldberg glacier.

Refreshing drinks or a hearty snack are available at the mountain inn.
