Beschreibung
Every year on the last Sunday in July, the "Käppelefest" is celebrated with an open-air church service: The people of Blasiwald and many guests commemorate their patron saint Pantaleon.
The chapel was the place of worship for the people of Blasiwald until the construction of St Mary's Church. In 1898, the stately chapel was given its current size.
Pantaleon is one of the 14 emergency helpers. He was the personal physician of the Roman Emperor Maximian. Pantaleon was not only concerned with the health of the body, but also of the soul. He helped the poor free of charge and donated his fortune to them. St Pantaleon is the patron saint of the sick and a helper against headaches and migraines.
