Veranstaltungsdetails
The festival has a long tradition. Sowing and harvesting have been the basis of life since time immemorial. Nowadays, this is usually taken for granted and little thought is given to its significance. In rural areas in particular, however, the harvest festival has retained its high status.
What started out as a small idea by Josef and Alois Bächle in 1963 is now a well-known and popular festival in the mountain community. It was the Trachtenkapelle Berau, under the then chairman Konrad Maier and his deputy Hansjörg Bachmann, that brought the harvest festival to life. The whole village and the clubs are involved in organising a breathtaking festival on the Berauer Berg on this festival weekend.
Catering is provided on all days. The event takes place in the Falkensteinhalle.
