Veranstaltungsdetails
In the German Phonographic Museum, an informative collection provides an insight into the traditional St. Georgen phonographic industry and the history of the development of phonographic technology, which is rich in curiosities. The collection shows the almost complete development of mechanical sound recording and reproduction - from the invention of the phonograph in 1877 by Thomas A. Edison to the hi-fi record player in 1985.
Every year in May, museums in Germany and around the world celebrate International Museum Day together. The museums in St. Georgen also invite visitors with a variety of activities and exciting programme items.
