Chris Leithaeuser is at home in many creative fields. The graduate graphic designer, illustrator and copywriter expanded his activities from Munich to south-west Germany in 2006, finally settling in the Black Forest and currently living in Donaueschingen.
Visitors to the KUNSCHTstüble in Furtwangen can literally expect multi-layered works that deal with the complexity of our times. Floods of media images reverberate in Leithaeuser's compositions, the familiar and the completely unknown enter into a dialogue. People and objects are torn out of their original surroundings and fixed in new contexts. It is not uncommon for time and space to seem out of joint.
The exhibition is open until 14 February during the opening hours of the town hall from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and by appointment.
