On 12 January 2025, the lights will go out in several communities and people will be able to enjoy the silence. This is also the case in Löffingen.
The lantern walk to the Witterschnee pilgrimage church starts at 6 pm in the centre of Löffingen. Lanterns are provided and children are welcome to bring their own.
At the Witterschnee pilgrimage church, between 6.30pm and 8pm, Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH invites you to enjoy a warm mulled wine or punch in a cosy atmosphere. It is a very special feeling to look at the stars together, which are otherwise hard to see because of all the street lights. The event stands for contemplation and slowing down.
Admission is free. The event takes place outdoors and may be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
