Welcome to the Forest Fox "Wälderfuchs" holiday programme!
We will take a closer look at the Hinterzarten beaver dams and learn more about the life of a beaver and its family. This family-friendly hike is all about "Adventure & Knowledge".
Topics and learning objectives:
- What does a beaver look like? We meet Freddy the beaver from Falkau.
- Where and how does a beaver live?
- What does a beaver eat and how does a beaver family live?
- How can you recognise whether beavers live on and in the river?
First there will be an introduction with the beaver preparation "Freddy". The main part will be a guided tour from the Kurhaus car park/playground to the beaver dams to the beaver lodge and then back to the starting point. After the hike, the children will receive craft materials to take home and a small bag of jelly babies.
