The house, built in typical Black Forest style, is situated in the Feldberg nature reserve, just below the summit. The Naturfreundehaus follows the philosophy of gentle tourism and prepares meals using as much organic and regional produce as possible.
Experiencing and preserving nature are the guiding principles and guidelines by which the house is run. The tradition of the Naturefriends movement, which has existed for almost 120 years, is followed in the Naturefriends House.
The restaurant is open for breakfast from 8.00 to 10.00.
It is open all day on weekends, public and school holidays, but closed on Tuesdays.
