St. Wilhelmer Hütte
So close to the sky:
At 1423 metres above sea level, the views from our sunny terrace are stunning. And if the weather isn't so nice, our 60 seats inside offer a cosy break.
Beschreibung
Welcome to one of the oldest cottages on the Feldberg!
The St. Wilhelm Hut was built in 1819 by farmers from St. Wilhelm and Todtnauberg for the 'Herders'. The so-called 'Herders' managed the Black Forest's mountain huts.
The current owner is the St. Wilhelmer Hütte cooperative.
At 1423 metres above sea level, the St. Wilhelmer Hütte is the highest alpine hut in Baden-Württemberg and boasts a stunning location, which can be enjoyed from the sunny outdoor terrace.
The cosy interior seats 60.
Martina and Thomas Zepf are the new tenants from May 2022 and look forward to welcoming you as their guests.
As a couple, they have been a great team for over 25 years and have finally realised their dream of owning their own mountain hut.
Unfortunately, overnight stays are not possible.
