Wegebeschaffenheit
Beschreibung
It is suitable for a day of relaxation after a long tour, for less athletic hikers or families with baby carriages. This route is also easy to walk in rainy weather. Highlights are the magnificent views over wide meadow landscapes which, on a clear day, extend over the gorges as far as the Alpine chain. The two large sinkholes are remarkable examples of the karst landscapes typical of the region.
Autorentipp
In Göschweiler and Reiselfingen there is the opportunity to stop off at cozy Black Forest restaurants. In Göschweiler, it is worth visiting the cheese cellar, which offers regional specialties.
Wegbeschreibung
You start the tour in Reiselfingen and hike to the Rosshag sinkhole. Here, on the afternoon of January 10, 1954, hunter Beck from Dittishausen was incredibly lucky: he had barely left the area when he heard a muffled rumble. At his location, next to the old sinkhole, a hole 38 meters deep and 16 to 18 meters in diameter had collapsed in the snow... Find out what it was all about on this exciting tour!
