Beschreibung
Starting point:
- Start at the Kurhaus Titisee
Start your tour at the Kurhaus in Titisee, which is the start and finish point of the tour. Here you can orientate yourself and mentally plan your route.
First stage:
2nd direction Neustadt through Seestraße
Cycle along Seestraße in the direction of Neustadt. The first two kilometres take you through the town and offer a relaxed start.
3rd trail start after 2 kilometres
After around 2 kilometres, you will reach the first trail section of the tour. This trail is around 4 kilometres long and takes you through beautiful countryside directly to Neustadt.
Passing through Neustadt:
4th kilometre 6: Neustadt and Hochfirstschanze
After completing the trail, you briefly cross the town of Neustadt. At kilometre 7, you reach the Hochfirstschanze, a prominent point on the tour and a popular destination for ski jumping fans.
Ascent to the Hochfirst:
5. through the Schmiedsbach valley and ski jump area
After the Hochfirstschanze, the route leads through the picturesque Schmiedsbachtal valley and a short trail in the ski jump area. This is also where the challenging ascent to the Hochfirst begins.
6th ascent (3 km)
The next 3 kilometres lead uphill to the Hochfirst. The route is challenging: the first half is on a narrow single trail that requires some technical skill and stamina, the second half is on a paved tarred road.
Hochfirst viewpoint:
7th summit Hochfirst
Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over Lake Titisee and as far as the Feldberg. You have reached the highest point of the tour! If you have time, it's worth taking a short break here at the Hochfirst mountain inn, where you can enjoy refreshments and traditional food.
Descent and return:
8th last 7 kilometres - mostly downhill
After your break, the return journey begins. The last 7 kilometres are mostly downhill or flat, so you can end the tour in a relaxed manner.
9. two trail sections of 1 kilometre each
On the way to the finish, enjoy two trail sections of around 1 kilometre in length, which offer you some more variety and take you through the beautiful Black Forest landscape.
10. along the lakeside promenade back to the Kurhaus
The last section of the route runs along the lakeside promenade of Lake Titisee and takes you directly back to the Kurhaus, the start and finish point of the tour.
