Wegbeschreibung
From Friedenweiler parish church, walk towards Friedenweiler clinic, leave it on your right and follow Schillingsweg, first flat, then uphill to Schillingskapelle chapel. Approx. 60 m after the Schillingskapelle chapel, take the right fork at the crossroads in the direction of Neustadt. After a few meters, the path turns left onto Bruckerweg . After one kilometer, turn left, pass the Wiedenkreuz and follow the Rudenberger Waldhöhenweg to the Max Engelsmann Hütte. There you have a panoramic view of the imposing Gutachtal bridge, across Neustadt to the Hochfirst and the Feldberg, and even as far as the Alps on a clear day.
Below you is the youth hostel with its mighty saddle roof. From here, take the path to the left along the tarred road to Rudenberg, passing five wayside crosses and two farm chapels. You will see the first chapel at Michelishof - the Michelishof Chapel.
Continuing along the path, you come to the Behashof farm with its Josenhof chapel. At the farm chapel, which is on the left of the path, the path goes steeply uphill to the edge of the forest towards Schillingskapelle . Here you have another beautiful panoramic view. After 100 m through the forest, you are back at the Schillingskapelle and from there take the familiar path back to the parish church in Friedenweiler.
