Winter hike on the Farnberg circuit

From the starting point at Weißenbacher Höhe, follow the yellow rhombus towards Korallenhäusle. On the way, the Wendelinkapelle at the Farnbauernhof invites you to take a quiet break.

Follow the path downhill to the Korellanhäusle, where you turn left towards Briglirain, slightly uphill, always following the yellow diamond. From Briglirain, follow the blue diamond for 400 m in the direction of Schönwald, but then keep left, following the road (with little traffic) past the Rothaus Loipenzentrum back to the starting point at Weißenbacher Höhe.

Good footwear and clothing suitable for the weather are essential for a wonderful hiking experience in winter. Drinks and backpack provisions are recommended for all tours.

The circular route is cleared in winter, but only partially gritted. Slippery snow and ice is therefore always to be expected.

In winter, the path is only suitable for pushchairs to a limited extent.
