The short winter walk from Brandenberg takes you along the meadow to Fahler Waterfall.

On a cold day, visit Fahler Waterfall. The sight of this structure of oversized icicles is unique.

Wegbeschreibung

Start your short walk on the Rotwiesenweg, opposite the Hirschen Inn. From there, the narrow winter footpath takes you past the Brandenberg waterfall district towards the entrance to Fahl. Just before you enter Fahl, you will have a fantastic view of the snow-capped Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest at 1493m. From here it is about 1.3 kilometres to the Fahl waterfall. Many visitors come here every year. On cold winter nights the waterfall freezes into a bizarre formation of oversized icicles.
