There are shops, restaurants and cafés in the village.
Every hour there is a bus to Hinterzarten with a direct connection to the train. This takes just under 60 minutes to Freiburg. Thanks to the Konus guest card, this is completely free of charge.
Breitnau offers beautiful trails through an open landscape. The varied surroundings are also a challenge for mountain bikers. The romantic Ravenna gorge leads in narrow windings directly down into the Höllental valley. This valley is the main connection between the Rhine plain and the Black Forest and is famous for the legendary Hirschsprung.

Description
We warmly welcome you to our beautiful vacation apartment "Dorfliebe", in the climatic health resort Breitnau.
The apartment is approx. 140m² in size, has a large dining area, 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people (maximum 6 adults). There is a sauna in the house for relaxation.
Your vacation home is located on a sunny plateau to the east of Freiburg at an altitude of over 1000m. Enjoy the view over the mountains and valleys of the Black Forest, up to the 1493m high Feldberg, the highest peak in the Black Forest.
Directly opposite the vacation home is the Breitnau indoor swimming pool with sauna, a public e-charging station for e-cars is also located directly opposite the vacation apartment.
There are several panoramic hiking trails on the doorstep and as soon as the first snow has fallen, the slopes and trails are prepared and the cross-country ski trails are groomed for skiing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking.
