Description
A charming blend of 100 years of tradition and modernity Nestled in the Black Forest, the Waldhotel Auerhahn is located at 1080 metres above sea level on the Weißenbachsattel in an absolutely secluded location between Todtmoos and the eastern edge of the Todtnau holiday region and is a direct stage stop on the eastern variant of the Westweg with the gateway to the Wehratal. The only one where you can still stamp your hiking book yourself. From the hotel's own car park, it is only a 30-minute drive to the Feldberg and just 22 minutes to the Belchen. The Black Forest capital of Freiburg can be reached in just under 45 minutes. Depending on the season, the hotel is the ideal starting point for shorter or longer hikes, cross-country skiing excursions and alpine skiing in winter as well as motorbike, bicycle and mountain bike tours from spring to late autumn. On horseback, you can easily get away from it all on guided tours of varying lengths and difficulty (1 to 4 hours) on the hotel's own horses. The extensive range of delicacies in the hotel restaurant spoils guests after an eventful day. Finally, the Moorish-style wellness area provides the perfect end to the day. After a restful night in one of the 13 individually designed themed rooms, you can start the new day with an a' la carte breakfast in our breakfast parlour or in the restaurant.
