Todtnauberg lies on the sunny side of the Feldberg. The youth hostel is located approx. 1 km above the village centre on the Radschert mountain.

21 four-bed rooms, 13 with shower/WC

Directions

Travelling by public transport:

From Freiburg continue to Kirchzarten by train. From there bus connection to Todtnauberg line 7215, bus stop Todtnauberg Rathaus. From the bus stop follow the signs to Radschert - Jugendherberge. Approx. 20 min. walk

Arrival by bus/car:

A5 Karlsruhe-Basel to exit Freiburg-Mitte, direction Donaueschingen B31, junction Kirchzarten Oberried, over the pass "Notschrei". Or A81 Stuttgart-Singen, exit towards Freiburg, then onto the B31 to Titisee, then onto the B317 towards Feldberg - Todtnau - Todtnauberg.

Differing cancellation conditions

This accommodation has a 1 day cancellation policy. If the booking is cancelled later or not cancelled, a cancellation fee equal to the first night's accommodation costs will be charged.

Important payment information and other conditions

For reservations for 2023 we charge an energy surcharge of €3 per person per night, which is not included in the price and will be charged on site.

All guests must be members of the DJH (Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk) or the IYHF (International Youth Hostel Federation). Membership can be purchased at reception on arrival. This costs EUR 7 per year for German guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 22.50 for families or persons aged 27 and over. Every year from June you can purchase membership at half price when you become a member of the DJH for the first time. Foreign guests require a Hostelling International Card (EUR 18) if they are not members of a national youth hostel association. A “Welcome Stamp” can be purchased for EUR 3.50 for individual overnight stays.
