The panoramic flat is very spacious and comfortable for 12 people, extends over 2 floors and an attic, has a large balcony and a garden with an outdoor seating area for barbecues.
On the ground floor is the large kitchen-cum-living room with cooking island and induction cooker, long table for 16-18 people, ideal for cooking together, cosy get-togethers by the open fireplace, on the balcony with deckchairs and table, view of the Alps and the Black Forest with breathtaking sunsets.
The accommodation is very suitable for stays with the extended family, for family holidays, holidays with friends and also for holding meetings and team events.
The kitchen is very well equipped for a large group, e.g. 2 raclettes, a DeLonghi coffee machine, extra milk frother, kettle, toaster, baking tins, extensive crockery and cookware, wine/champagne glasses and high-quality electrical appliances.
Board games, 2 children's highchairs (TripTrap), a flipchart and large TV/screen are available.
3 bedrooms (double bed 180x200, bunk bed 90x200, double bed 160x200) are located on the ground floor.
3 bedrooms are on the upper floor, including one bedroom (double bed 180x200) with open gallery and stairs to the attic with 2 further beds (2 single beds 90x200). The 3rd bedroom on the upper floor has 2 single beds (90x200). There is a bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC on each floor and a separate WC on the ground floor.
The rental price includes bed linen, a shower and hand towel per guest, as well as 1 bath mat per bathroom and tea towels. We ask you to make and strip the beds yourself.
Children under 3 years are free. There is a travel cot in the accommodation with duvet, please bring your own duvet covers.
The washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room can be used on request.
In the carport there is a lockable room for bicycles and skis for all guests.

Description
We love living in the mountains of the Black Forest, travelling and we like to wander into the distance. So we have found a house in a great location, with a large outdoor area and stunning views all around, which we have lovingly furnished to a high standard for people who share this passion with us.
It is not a luxurious hideaway, but has the soul of a very modern mountain hut with classic wooden walls, creaky stairs, a large living-dining-kitchen, new bathrooms and balconies, as well as a large outdoor area, carport and bike or ski room.
All rooms have underfloor heating. The heating runs on geothermal energy and the electricity comes from the house's own solar system. We have preserved many beautiful old details.
We rent out 2 holiday flats in the house, the ‘Panorama Apartment’ for 12 people and the ‘Garden Apartment’ with sauna for 4-6 people, which can also be rented together for a total of 16-18 people and connected by the internal staircase. The flats each have their own entrance and private garden with outdoor seating for barbecues and relaxing. They offer space to meet friendly, sporty and sociable people of all ages who love nature, live sustainably and enjoy being outdoors. Board games, WiFi and large televisions are of course also available.
The large living-dining-kitchen of the "Panorama flat" can accommodate 16-18 people if required.
Hiking trails start directly from the house, cross-country ski trails can be reached directly or within a few minutes' walk. In good snow conditions, you can access the Todtnauberg ski circuit directly from the house and back again.
The SURROUNDINGS!
Directly in Todtnauberg are the Todtnau waterfalls with the breathtaking suspension bridge ‘Blackforestline’.
The spectacular summer toboggan run and the downhill bike trail in Todtnau are not far away (approx. 4 km).
It is 8 km to the Steinwasen wildlife park and approx. 22 km to Schluchsee and Titisee.
The old town of Freiburg can be reached in just over half an hour, Switzerland with the Rhine Falls and Basel with its many museums is just under an hour's drive away.
In winter, you can access the Todtnauberg ski circuit directly from the house or set off on touring skis. The Feldberg ski area is approx. 14 km away. Cross-country ski trails can be reached directly from the house or after a short walk.
Todtnauberg offers hiking trails for all levels of difficulty, also ideal for children. Hanging chairs in the forest, many beautiful viewing benches and the longest bench in the world on the Stübenwasen invite you to take a break with unforgettable views of the Rhine Valley, the Alps and the Black Forest.
In addition to a small mountain lake, there is also a small outdoor pool in the village for swimming.

Differing cancellation conditions
Cancellation at least 28 days before arrival: free of charge.
Cancellation 28 to 15 days before departure: fee of 50% of the total rent.
Cancellation 14 to 0 days before departure: fee of 90% of the total rent.
Tourist tax information
The local tourist tax is payable on site and is not included in the booked price. Information on paying the tourist tax on arrival will follow after booking. The visitor's tax is €2.90 per person (aged 17 and over) per day and must be paid separately. Children up to 6 years are free. Children from 6 up to and including 16 years pay € 1.00 per child. The completed registration forms for the visitor's tax are valid as a cone card. This entitles you to free local public transport.
Important payment information and other conditions
Deposit: 50 % of the total rent no later than 28 days before the start of the holiday. Payment of the balance: No later than 10 days before the start of the holiday.
E-cars are welcome. If required, the 11 kW charging station can be used at 0.35 €/kWh. We require a deposit of € 500.00 before arrival for the use of the e-charging card.
A wooden house is currently being built on the neighbouring property downhill. We cannot rule out corresponding side effects on weekdays.
