Villa Seepark is located at an altitude of approx. 1,000 m in the Upper Black Forest, on the headland of a peninsula in Schluchsee. Located at the end of a very quiet residential street, it is nevertheless close to the village. The sandy beach and the lake circuit as well as the famous Jägersteig are right in front of your feet. The unobstructable pure southern exposure provides a lot of sun, even in winter. Fantastic view over the lake to the highest mountain of the Upper Black Forest, the Feldberg, which is almost 1,500 m high. The villa, which was built by Änne and Frieder Burda, has been lovingly renovated and stylishly furnished by us and awaits guests with a sense for the extraordinary.

The interior of your vacation home leaves nothing to be desired. An apartment in high-quality, modern chalet style that invites you to walk barefoot, that feels good and smells good. What we eat should also be stored in healthy cabinets without harmful substances and prepared in a modern equipped kitchen. In general, we have a soft spot for natural wood when it has been processed by master craftsmen into valuable furniture. It goes without saying that the kitchen made of solid wood is equipped with all the usual utensils, dishes, baking pans, also with WOK, Fondue. Raclette goes without saying. Also cooking oil, pepper and salt, tea and coffee are always there. You can also look forward to the icing on the cake of every Black Forest parlor, the cozy sitting area by the tiled stove.

Another example of the natural furnishings is the Black Forest four-poster bed or the 100-year-old, masterfully renovated Art Nouveau wardrobe in the bedroom. In the bedroom you also have reading lamps, an additional sofa with a view of the lake. Sleep tucked in pleasant bedding the sheep of the righteous in true heavenly peace. We do not even notice it anymore, but our guests are fascinated by the peace. We give you the starry sky as a gift. Watch the fishermen pass by in their boats in the early morning before you plunge into the cool water yourself, or retreat to your own private favorite corner in the spacious park for sunbathing or reading. Garden furniture is available in many secluded spots, of course you also have your private deck chairs, your own gas grill. It's simply all there. Your own barbecue area is tempting to just waste time and unwind.

The living room is modern and artistically designed. At the window overlooking the park and the lake is the bistro dining area with comfortable chairs. The leather couch, the fireplace, TV with Amazon Firestick, Bluetooth music system for inside and outside complete the interior.

The private sauna with the hand hewn boards from old wood is another highlight not only in the colder season. Also in summer, the sauna is really good after a hike or bike ride. The spacious, over 15 square meter bathroom with daylight offers with the double washbasin, bathtub, walk-in shower, the Sensowash shower toilet made in the Black Forest by Duravit and the bidet everything to make your wellness vacation in the Black Forest more beautiful. Towels, shower gel and bath additive, sauna essences are available and included in the price.

The sandy beach is right in front of your feet. Enjoy the wonderful view of the village and over the whole lake. The rental of rowing and pedal boats, kayaks and standup paddleboards, as well as the mooring for sailboats is right next door. Beautifully located and inexpensive cafes and restaurants can be found on every corner nearby. Recently we have a star chef here in town. His restaurant "Mühle" is really recommended for special occasions.



Many extras you get for free
If you arrive by train, I'll be happy to pick you up by car for free. But it is also only eight minutes on foot. I'll also be happy to do the shopping for you so there's something in the fridge when you arrive. The famous tannenzäpfle beer and Hirschquelle mineral water are always on the table to welcome you. At Villa Seepark, not only a parking space but also two e-bikes are available to you free of charge during your entire vacation. In the summer of 2022, a kayak will be added. Garden furniture with various seats and deck chairs are available, as well as a gas grill. The use, also the gas are also inclusive.

Sports facilities are available on the doorstep and in the surrounding area. Several golf courses, mountaineering, football field, ice skating, golf course, canoeing, climbing, cycling, rafting, tobogganing, rowing, sailing, ski (cross-country), ski (alpine), sports center, surfing, diving, tennis, everything is here.


Culture
The world-famous Donaueschingen Music Days, the Tent Music Festival in Freiburg, the famous Bre-genz Festival on the lake stage are all within easy reach of Villa Seepark. In addition, there are several theaters and opera houses and concert halls within easy reach, But also the many open-air stages and folk festivals should not be missed.


Excursion possibilities:
If the excursion steamer passing in front of your eyes makes you want to take a lake cruise, or if you are planning an excursion with the beautiful Three Lakes Railway to Freiburg, then use the mobility card included in the visitor's tax. The good interconnection of train, bus and boat allows hikes and tours in one direction, you always get back to the starting point easily and comfortably. The train station is 8 minutes walk away. The village center is only a 10-minute walk away. Not far from here the cathedral of Sankt Blasien is almost a must, certainly also the waterfalls in Men-zenschwand or Todtnau. By train or by car you can easily reach Freiburg, the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, Constance on Lake Constance with the flower island Mainau, the nearby Alsace or many other worthwhile destinations,

We are very flexible to your wishes. The arrival can be almost around the clock. On the day of departure we coordinate the situation according to whether other guests arrive on the same day. In any case, we will find a solution that is convenient for you.

Directions

Coming from Switzerland, take the B500 in the direction of Freiburg from the border town of Waldshut-Tiengen. This takes about 30 minutes. Coming from France or the north (Belgium, Netherlands), take the A5 freeway to Freiburg Mitte and from there take the B31 towards Donaueschingen. Kurt after Titisee turn onto the B500 towards Feldberg. In Bärental turn left to Schluchsee.

The best way to get there is by train via Freiburg. From there a wonderful route leads through tunnels and over viaducts up into the Upper Black Forest directly to Schluchsee. We will pick you up at the train station.

If you come from very far away, you have the airports Stuttgart, Zurich and Basel to choose from.

Differing cancellation conditions

The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
