Church of the Redeemer in Menzenschwand

Until 1976, the church was the catholic parish’s old “St Martin’s Church” in Menzenschwand. Old ceiling and wall paintings were discovered beneath the many layers of paint. The church was restored between 1976 and 1978 under the direction of Siegfried Wölfle. The church was consecrated under its new name “Church of the Redeemer” on Ascension Day in 1978.
