Beschreibung
The typical Black Forest Highlands - you'll find at Lake Titisee. A boat trip in the shade of the wooded mountains is just as much a must as buying one or two typical souvenirs, such as a cuckoo clock or Black Forest ham, which the numerous specialist shops in "Seestraße" have to offer. However, with one lap around the lake, active people have participated only in a small part of the many sports that Titisee-Neustadt offers.
Hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers, golfers and swimmers: All will find ample territory around the spa resort. A visit to the Action Forest for climbing or the "Badeparadies Schwarzwald" with its spectacular slides "Galaxy Schwarzwald", the Palm Oasis and an extraordinary spa experience in the "Palais Vital" offers exceptional holiday entertainment.
Let the "Zäpfle-Bähnle" (a small street train) take you on a wonderful round trip into the romantic side valleys. There you will pass typical Black Forest farms. During the journey, the train driver tells you all about the Titisee-Neustadt holiday region. In winter, snow-covered slopes attract skiers and snowboarders. Those who prefer it less steep can glide along one of the numerous cross-country ski trails. Skate-fans can put their stamina to the test on the ice or tobogganing on one of the longest tracks in the Black Forest between Saig and Titisee. The Hochfirstschanze, Germany's largest natural ski jump, is also an impressive sight. In winter, exciting ski jumping competitions take place here every year. In summer, the special ambience provides the scenery for great open-air events.
