The typical Black Forest Highlands - you'll find at Lake Titisee. Let the "Zäpfle-Bähnle" (a small street train) take you on a wonderful round trip into the romantic side valleys. There you will pass typical Black Forest farms. During the journey, the train driver tells you all about the Titisee-Neustadt holiday region. In winter, snow-covered slopes attract skiers and snowboarders. Those who prefer it less steep can glide along one of the numerous cross-country ski trails. Skate-fans can put their stamina to the test on the ice or tobogganing on one of the longest tracks in the Black Forest between Saig and Titisee. The Hochfirstschanze, Germany's largest natural ski jump, is also an impressive sight. In winter, exciting ski jumping competitions take place here every year. In summer, the special ambience provides the scenery for great open-air events.
