Description
The tour takes you past the "Silberbrünnle" water treading area, which invites you to refresh yourself, and the "Urseetal" valley, where you can marvel at a rare raised bog.
Directions
You start your hike at the "Kurhaus" in Lenzkirch and from there walk past the mill wheel and through the park to the bus stop. Here you follow the signs and take the narrow path towards the "Urseetal" bridge. Always along the stream, you reach the bridge comfortably in the sun. However, do not cross it, but keep left and you will reach the "Silberbrünnle" parking lot a short time later. A few meters up the road on the left-hand side, you will find the Silberbrünnle water treading area, where you can take your first break and cool your feet in the refreshing water. Refreshed, you continue, cross the road again and follow the blue diamond on the "Urseerundweg" trail. Now you can see the Ursee valley to your right, which was formed by the glaciers and is still an upland moor with rare flora and fauna and feeds the "Urseebach" stream.
You can take a break at the "Urseetalblick" and enjoy the view over the Ursee and the valley. Continue along the footpath until you reach the highest point of your tour at the "Unter dem Stoßfelsen" signpost.
Here you take the bend to the right towards "Möslehof" and follow the yellow diamond to the right close to the valley. Follow the valley gently downhill into open terrain, always following the yellow diamond towards Lenzkirch. You pass the Möslehof farm and continue to the main road. Cross this road and turn right towards Lenzkirch. Continue along the light edge of the forest, enjoying the sunshine, until you reach the road again further east, which you cross to arrive back at the Urseebach bridge. Here, turn left onto the path along the stream and follow it back to town.
