The tour takes you from the "Kurhaus" via the "Kesslerberg" to the "Mathisleweiher". From "Mathisleweiher", the tour runs via "Kesslerhof" back to the town center.
Author's recommendation
After your hike, enjoy a coffee in one of the cozy cafés in Hinterzarten.
Directions
You start your tour at the "Kurhaus" of Hinterzarten.
Keep to the right at first, but after a few meters cross the road into "Adlerweg". Continue straight on into "Sickingerstraße", which takes you via "Adlerschanze" up to "Bruderstiegweg". At the top, you reach "Landhaus Färber". Walk past it and continue towards "Helmlewald" until you reach "Mathislehof", which has its own farm store.
From there, take the path towards "Silberberg", which you follow to the Mathisleweiher junction.
For the way back, head towards "Stuckwald", but turn right again to follow the signs to "Oberzarten" and "town center".
