Since 1879 we have been offering craftsmanship a home. We rely on regional ingredients, traditional processing, tried and tested recipes and new ideas. A family business with passion.

And we have made a name for ourselves. In Bräunlingen we are known as known as ‘Dicke Beck’. A charming name that goes back to the corpulence of the founder August Schmid.

Our focus is on healthy wholemeal products such as bread, flakes and spelt specialities.

We only use natural raw materials for both wholemeal bread and white bread and do not use baking agents, ready-made mixes or preservatives.
