Winter sports with a Black Forest panorama
Cross-country skiing in the Black Forest Highlands
In the Black Forest Highlands, 140 cross-country ski trails (totalling around 900km) are groomed by cross-country skiers in winter. A true paradise for cross-country skiers and skaters! The entire trail network has been certified and standardised by the German Ski Association. Most of the trails are classic and also prepared for skaters. There are several huts and shelters for cross-country skiers along the way. To help you plan your cross-country trip, check out the snow report as well as the trail descriptions - it gives you a daily overview of snow depths and open trails.
