Wegbeschreibung
The cross-country circuit begins and ends at the Äulemer Kreuz, a pass between Menzenschwand and Äule. There is also a route orientation board there.
From Äulemer Kreuz there is initially a 600 metre ascent. At the Kapellenkopf hut, turn half right into the forest to the next crossroads. Turn right at this junction, followed by an easy descent and, after a further ascent past the Wasserloch Hütte, you reach Farnwitte. At Farnwitte, continue left and follow this trail to the Kapellenkopf hut, where you descend back to the starting point.
