Regional craftsmanship and Black Forest delicacies
Market stalls and offers in the Ravenna Gorge
When a magnificent stone viaduct rises above a snow-covered village of huts, illuminated by thousands of lights, and a train rushes through the gorge in a mist of red, blue and green, it's not a scene from a Harry Potter film, but a heavenly and magical reality. Every year, the Christmas market in the Ravenna Gorge puts visitors in a particularly festive mood. Strolling among the festively decorated wooden stalls, you can feel the special atmosphere: exquisite handicrafts, unique handmade items from the region, and the tantalising aroma of Black Forest specialities, from sweet to savoury, all offered by warm-hearted people who are passionate about their craft.
On-site, due to the unstable network, often only cash payment is possible.
