The hospital chapel was built in 1980 when the former district hospital was rebuilt. It is centrally located on the ground floor.

ts design is simple and deliberately ecumenically open, initiated by the pastors of both denominations at the time. Sculptor Karl Rißler/Freiburg (1917-1992) was responsible for the artistic design of the chapel. Particularly noteworthy are the eight bronze reliefs on the petitions of the Lord's Prayer.
