Hexenloch mill

Built in 1825 on the banks of the Heubach. The Hexenloch mill is the only mill in the Black Forest with two water wheels and is now only operated for demonstration purposes.

The part with the smaller wheel was first used as a nail forge and later for the manufacture of clock frames, while the part with the with the large wheel was added a few years later as a sawmill. The mill also includes a restaurant with a cosy Black Forest parlour and large open-air terrace, as well as a shop with Black Forest specialities and souvenirs.
