As the name indicates, the “Spornburg” (Spur Castle) was built on a granite rock spur. Not much remains of the castle today. Most of the wall slipped down the cliff face over the centuries. The foundation walls of a tower and parts of a (draw) bridge can still be seen today. However, most of it is overgrown with trees and difficult to access.
