Rothaus cross-country skiing centre
The Rothaus cross-country skiing centre is a modern 2.5 km long cross-country ski trail in the Weißenbachvalley with a biathlon shooting range. Thanks to the lighting facilities, you can even ski until late in the evening.
In summer, the tarmac track is ideal for inline skating. The fact that World Cup winner, world champion in the mixed relay and Olympic bronze medallist Simone Hauswald trained here shows that the training conditions are excellent.
Our current biathlon athlete and World Championship runner-up Janina Hettich-Walz, who competes for the Schönwald Ski Club, also trains at this facility. Together with the coaching team, she has laid the foundations for her outstanding performances here.
