In July 2008, we started growing an herb garden next to the monastery. The aim was to spark interest in local plant life and to convey its diversity and importance as a source of livelihood. You will find medicinal herbs, wild herbs, as well as plants that follow us wherever we go and have thus been termed useless weeds.
