St. Urban Catholic Parish Church

Father Fichter made the decision to build a new church in 1908. Between 1912 and 1914, the current building was constructed according to the plans of senior building inspector Jakob Jeblinger from the Freiburg Archbishop's Building Office. In 1954, the new organ was built under Father Hugelmann, and in 1956 and 1957 the church was renovated and painted in its current form. A new renovation in 1989 was completed in 1990. Schonach's baroque church is one of the most beautiful in Germany.
