This parking lot is located at the Drei-Schluchten-Halle in Bachheim. This makes it the starting point for the 3 Gorges Hike as well as a smaller tour to Bachheim, and there is a children's playground and a rest area with a barbecue at this parking lot. There is a public toilet at the Drei-Schluchten-Halle, which is open during the day. The kiosk at the hall is open from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Löffingen Black Forest Association offers hiking advice from 10:00-13:00 on Sundays during the summer vacations (Baden-Württemberg).
