The Witznau Reservoir, a pumped-storage dam, is embedded beautifully in the Schwarza Valley. Bathing in the artificial lake is strictly prohibited and also very dangerous. However, the wonderful landscape can still be explored on a walk around the lake. The steeply rising cliff walls surrounding the lake make it a beautiful place to linger and enjoy.
