Veranstaltungsdetails
Under the motto "Discover our ancestors 100 to 200 years ago", visitors can experience how people lived and worked in the Black Forest and take part in various activities. These include writing the old German script, including using styluses on slates as in the past, trying out manual skills by assembling a simple clock, including painting the dial, and weaving on a loom. Some historical crafts are demonstrated, such as a blacksmith or the basket maker Ulrich Grießhaber, who introduces his craft.
There is also a separate guided tour on the subject of sustainable living in earlier times at 14:00 and 16:00.
