The Gisiboden Alm is situated in a wonderful secluded location at 1168 m above sea level seven kilometers above Todtnau-Geschwend and can also be reached by car.
Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the far-reaching views of nature and magnificent sunsets.
The kitchen offers hikers and overnight guests freshly prepared, seasonal dishes, including vegetarian and vegan delights. Home-baked cakes round off the menu. Groups can receive an individual menu by arrangement.
The sixteen rooms (mainly double rooms) of the mountain inn are rustically furnished and spread over two floors. There is a washbasin in each room, showers and toilets are located on the floors.
The Gisiboden Alm also has a separate room, suitable for up to 60 people, for any event, e.g. family celebrations, company events, club meetings, seminars.
The Gisiboden Alm is starting point for many attractive outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking or snowshoe tours, as it is located in the middle of the most attractive hiking area in the southern Black Forest. Various excursion destinations can be reached from here on tours of varying difficulty. The Berggasthaus is a popular place to stop for refreshments on the hike from Feldberg or via the Bernauer Kreuz to Todtnau. Another popular tour leads directly from Todtnau via the Hasenhorn to the Alm.
