On a warm summer's day, you can also pamper yourself in the beer garden of a country inn called Schwanen in peace and quiet. With a cool drink or a milk ice cream from the farm you can unwind and hide the everyday life.
Wegbeschreibung
The path leads us down to the "Mettmatal". The valley is traversed by the quietly flowing "Mettma". We walk to the "Lochmühle" and turn onto the dirt road, which runs left of the "Mettma". The dense vegetation provides pleasant shade in the summer. The further we go, the deeper we dive into the green heart of the valley. Almost the ruin "Mandach" remains hidden.
Immediately we meet the highway, which we follow for a short distance. The red rhombus, however, leads us immediately right again on a forest path. Passing the "Schwedenfelsen" the "Witzeichenweg" leads us to the "Falkenstein".
In the parking lot, which is located at the "Berauer Halde", we turn right. The deep green clears and we reach "Berau". At the fork "Berau Kloster" we keep to the right. Now it is only a few minutes walk to our starting point.
