From the "Haus des Gastes", cross the parkgarden to Sommerbergstraße. Follow this road to the right until the next crossroads and then turn left up Grubweg.

Continue along the path via Freiheit and Vogeleck, with a wonderful view of Schonach. Before you get there, walk over the Holzeck, past the wind turbine to the Laubeck. You return to the village via Belchenstraße and Feldbergstraße.

Please follow the winter hiking trail sign no. 1.

Good footwear and clothing suitable for the weather are essential for a wonderful winter hiking experience. A drink and rucksack food are recommended for all tours.

Premium winter hiking trail

Premium winter hiking trails are specially maintained and signposted winter hiking trails that have been developed in association with the German Sport University Cologne. The routes have been selected so that they are mostly very scenic and as easy to walk as possible. The winter hiking trails are checked and cleared or rolled daily and are mostly circular hiking trails.
