Circular trail through the Stockwald forest

From the Klosterweiher pond, which lies at the foot of St. Georgen, follow the Großbauernweg trail behind St. Georgen railway station up to the Großbauer in Stockwald. Continue through the Untertal valley to reach the upper Stockwald forest. Via Bösinger Winkel, the trail descends via Fohrenbühl back to the Klosterweiher natural outdoor pool.

Good footwear and clothing suitable for the weather are essential for a wonderful winter hiking experience. Drinks and rucksack provisions are recommended for all tours.
