Wegbeschreibung
The Höchst Trail runs through the forest and links the villages of Oberbränd, Eisenbach and Bubenbach. You enter the trail in Oberbränd near the village hall (car park) and glide for just under 2 km, with a slight climb, along the high trail towards Eisenbach 'Höchst'. You are now at an altitude of 1,141 metres. (A connecting path leads first downhill and then, after crossing the main road, up to the Höchstberg, where you can join the Höchstberg path and the Hochebene path).
Stay on the Höchstberg path. At the edge of the forest, you can look down on the Eisenbacher Mitteltal before descending back into the forest on the right. The trail continues and bends towards Bubenbach. Here you meet the upper part of the Hirschenberg path. From here the trail continues uphill for 8.8km until you reach the village centre of Oberbränd. At the end of the route, you can enjoy a meal at the Linde restaurant in Oberbränd (approx. 1.8 km).
