"Grafenhausen Bohlisch" trail
Mittel
The "Bohlisch" cross-country ski trail is located not far from Germany's highest brewery. Connoisseurs who love not only the art of brewing but also panoramic trails are here.
Beschreibung
An enjoyable loop is waiting for you. It offers a unique Alpine panorama in fine weather. The trail is mostly easy. You can also catch a glimpse of snow-covered "Grafenhausen" and the sugared forest on your tour.
Autorentipp
If you follow the source of the smell of beer, you will arrive at the "Rothaus" brewery. The brewery inn serves regional delicacies and, of course, the brewery's own beer.
Wegbeschreibung
You start your tour on the sunny heights of Grafenhausen near the ski lift. Instead of a speedy descent, however, you can look forward to an enjoyable loop that offers a unique Alpine panorama in fine weather. The predominantly easy trail is prepared for both classic running and skating. The closer you get to your starting point, the more palpable the aroma of freshly brewed beer that fills the air on brewing days.
Only one downhill section is a little more challenging with a gradient of around 7%, which is why the trail is categorised as ‘medium’.
When the snow depth is low, the trail is shortened to 1 km.
This trail is perfect for familiarising yourself with the terrain and, if necessary, connecting to other trails is no problem. It is possible to connect to the "Balzhausen" trail to the north or to the "Signau" trail or the "Grafenhausen" village trail to the south. The connecting trails are only groomed when there is sufficient snow.
