The tour into the Menzenschwander Valley is the centrepiece of this 44 km gravel tour. However, before you can plunge into the valley, you have to climb a few metres in altitude from Schluchsee to the Caritas Haus on the Feldberg Pass. Nevertheless, you are rewarded with fantastic views on the ascent.
The Menzenschwander Tal valley boasts a fantastic landscape backdrop and invites you to get off your bike briefly for the Menzenschwander waterfalls - if you manage to stop in time in the flow.
The second ascent over the Oberer Habsberg is only a formality after the feelings of happiness from the first half of the tour and so you can take an extended and well-deserved break at the Unterkrummenhof shortly before the end of the tour at Schluchsee.
A circular tour that has everything that makes the Black Forest special: marvellous views, a vast, deserted valley, an idyllic waterfall, ancient Black Forest farms and cool water to refresh yourself!
