High altitude climate trail Lenzkirch "Gschind"

You start your hike at the "Kurhaus Lenzkirch". Keep right here and follow the road past the information boards and along the park until you reach the first signpost on the left-hand side of the road, at the bridge over the river "Haslach". Continue straight ahead towards "Gschind", cross the road and turn into "Trenschelweg", which you follow uphill through the houses. Follow the blue diamond sign and head towards "Ruhbühl". Through the open terrain, you reach the Ruhbühl water treading area, where you can cool your feet in the refreshing water and let the sun warm them up again.

Continue uphill until you reach a large crossroads. Here, turn right towards "Fuchsfarm" onto the Gschind circular trail. Following the yellow diamond, you first hike through sparse forest over the highest point of the tour. You then reach open terrain where you can enjoy the wind and sun.

At the "Fuchsfarm" hiking parking lot, keep straight on, following the middle path and its red diamond with a white line. Follow the forest path slightly downhill towards Lenzkirch. You cross a small wood and finally reach the "Schliecht" Stadium in Lenzkirch, where you can enjoy the sun again. Behind the stadium, turn left and follow the middle path across the Geopark to Lenzkirch. Once there, cross the main road and return to the Kurhaus through the park.

Note: To shorten the tour, you can take the 7258 bus from the "Lenzkirch Kurpark" stop in the direction of Bonndorf and get off at the "Unterlenzkirch" stop. From there, follow the signs "Zuweg zum Gschind-Rundweg" until you come to the "Gschind-Rundweg" in the direction of Ruhbühl.
