Langenordnach & Schwärzenbach valley tour

Enjoy being a guest in the restaurant "Löwen".

You start the tour at "Unteres Wirtshaus/Löwen", cross the road and follow it to "Balzenhof". Cross the road again here and turn right up the mountain at the "Balzenmühle". After a steep climb, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the valleys!

Follow the path through the forest for a while and finally along the edge of the forest. You can enjoy one last time the wonderful view and return to a road that leads you past the "Wilmershof" farm back to the valley and finally back to the starting point.

Premium winter hiking trail

Premium winter hiking trails are specially maintained and signposted winter hiking trails that have been developed together with the "Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln" (German Sport University Cologne). The routes are selected so that they are mostly very scenic and as easy to walk as possible. The winter hiking trails are checked and cleared or rolled daily and are mostly circular hiking trails.
