On four paws through Hinterzarten - Hochmoorweg trail

From Hinterzarten train station, turn right and follow Bahnhofweg to the fire station. Here you turn left onto Sportplatzweg and turn right immediately after the tracks. The path now takes you around the Hinterzarten moor. You walk through forests, past impressive moor figures, the so-called moor guards, to the Hinterzartener Hochmoor barbecue area. At the next crossroads, take the path to the left and after the sports field you will come to the crossroads at Sportplatzweg. Here you take the familiar route back to the station.
