Beschreibung

On this hike, you can enjoy wonderful views of the Schluchsee. You hike through snow-covered forests across open terrain to the former farm “Vogelhaus” and then back via the tower "Riesenbühlturm" tower.
Especially when you climb the Riesenbühl tower, you can let your gaze wander over Schluchsee and the surrounding area and, with a bit of luck, even see as far as the Alps.

A detour to the "Riesenbühlurm" tower with a marvellous view over the Fischbach valley and the Feldberg montain.

Wegbeschreibung

Your tour starts at the Kurhaus and takes you along "Dresselbacher Straße" past the Hotel "Vier Jahreszeiten" to the sports field.

Pass the sports field on your right into the forest and follow the hiking trail "Kreuzwaldweg" until you reach the former "Vogelhaus."

From there, follow the hiking trail "Riesenbühlrundweg" to the left. After your stopover to the "Riesenbühlturm" tower, take the hiking trail "Kreuzwaldweg" back to the sports field. From there, take the same route back to the starting point.

Ausrüstung

Good winter footwear required. If necessary, bring a packed lunch and warm tea.
