Enjoy a wonderful view of the lake Schluchsee

from the peninsula "Amalienruhe" not far from the town centre.

You start the winter hike at Schluchsee railway station. It takes you along the hiking trail "Seerundweg" to the Schluchsee district of Aha. On the way, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the frozen Schluchsee and the winter landscape. The Amalienruhe, a peninsula with a pavilion, invites you to linger and enjoy.

From here, the trail takes you directly to the Schluchsee district of Aha. Here you can enjoy the view of the snow-covered mountain "Feldberg" and the charming excursion restaurant "Unterkrummenhof".

Once you arrive in Aha, use the pedestrian underpass to continue on the path. You will pass Aha railway station. Trains leave here every hour in the direction of Schluchsee. After the underpass, walk behind the Hotel Auerhahn across the station car park further on the hiking trail "Schlageterweg" back towards Schluchsee.

Shortly before Schluchsee, cross the road and turn right through the underpass shortly after crossing. At the "Pension am See", keep left again to get to the train station.
