Beschreibung
Hello my dearest friends,
welcome to the Nature Experience Trail!
My name is Hansi Holzknecht! On the Nature Experience Trail, I will always say YOU to you, as is customary with us animals, regardless of whether you are 7 or 77 years old! During the two hours on the trail, I will accompany you and always show you the way. Follow the tip of my beak and you will learn a lot about the forest, try out a few things and have lots of fun! Along the way, if you look carefully, you can answer a few questions and become a “junior forester” at the end.
Autorentipp
There is a great, large playground with a raft across the lake in the spa gardens near the information point.
Wegbeschreibung
You start your tour at Ginsterstraße. Here you will find puzzle booklets with tasks for the individual stations in a box at the start.
From there, Hansi Holzknecht will accompany you on the circular route and will always point you in the right direction. As you walk up through the forest, you will pass various tree species and reach the barefoot path. Here you can take off your shoes and socks and feel the different surfaces.
The path continues over hill and dale to the auditory tubes and the humming stone. At the top of the Holzeck, turn left and learn about giant trees and their history. Walking down into the valley, you will pass vantage points where you can see a typical piece of the Black Forest: Farms, meadows, pastures and forest.
A little further along the path, past the upturned roots of a tree, you come to the Tierweitsprung. Right here, after the jumping pit, the stalking trail begins, where you are guaranteed to spot local forest dwellers.
Back at the starting point, you can enter the solution in your puzzle booklet and take it to the tourist information office in Schönwald or to the Moosi stationery store. There you will then be awarded a certificate as a junior forester!
Ausrüstung
Good footwear, clothing suitable for the weather, drinks and possibly a small backpack are recommended for all tours. The route is not suitable for baby carriages.
