Short round walk on the Brend

As a famous Greek philosopher once said, ‘Food and drink keep body and soul together’. A detour to the Berggasthaus Brend or the Naturfreundehaus Brend is always worthwhile to savour the Black Forest delicacies.

From the starting point in the car park at Brend, take the path (red route) to the Naturfreundehaus Brend. From there, continue left towards Brendhäusle. From there, follow the path to the left back to the starting point.

Good footwear and winter clothing are recommended.

Our premium winter hiking trails are well maintained and specially signed winter hiking trails, which are marked with a blue circular sign. The winter hiking trails are checked and cleared or prepared daily and are mostly circular hiking trails.
